Hi, I had the opportunity to buy the 1987 Volvo 240 DL, it is in very good condition, I will buy it soon, just for sale and it has good service. It covered a distance of about 250,000 miles. The 240 series is the best Volvo ever. These cars are basically bullet proof and can survive a little longer with regular maintenance. Volvos became more sophisticated over the years, but the 240s were still relatively simple cars, easy to repair and cheap to maintain. You can't miss the nearest car and when your long journey is yours you will be amazed at how comfortable it is. Just change the oil and fix the little things when they are done.
