Definition of Stem & leaf plot:
A table in which data values are divided into either a leaf or a stem. In a stem and leaf plot, the stem values appear on the vertical axis and the leaf values are listed on the horizontal axis. Typically used to track the scores of a number of groups, such as those produced by sports teams or in a classroom setting, a stem and leaf plot clearly lists the scores of each group or individual in descending order.
